Because it is technically not yet possible to make a "real" 8-port DP KVM-Switch, we have found an "affordable" solution, which offers DisplayPort connections at inputs and also outputs and works perfectly.
Two advantages are even one:
1) can also connect computers that have only DVI or HDMI outputs
2) can also connect monitors that have only one DVI input
